Long time no see! But we have three great pieces of news to share with you: From the new Gen6 solar module to Sonnenglas® unpackaged and our first own shop.

Dear sun worshippers, have you missed us yet? Admittedly, we've kept you in the dark for a long time - but today we can enlighten you with some great news!

The new Gen6 solar module

Our biggest innovation, which we are particularly proud of: the Generation 6 solar module! It shines five times brighter than before, with up to 100 hours of luminosity. Also new: the module can now also be used independently of the glass and can now be charged via a modern USB-C connection. It is of course compatible with all previous Sonnenglas® lanterns. Our Generation 6 solar module is now available separately in the store as a Classic and a Mini.

Optionally unpacked

The second new feature: Sonnenglas® can now also be ordered without packaging. In concrete terms, this means that our Sonnenglas® is only wrapped in recycled paper for protection, so it comes without cardboard. This saves a lot of resources and weight during shipping and thus reduces the ecological footprint. For all unpackaged fans and anyone who doesn't need operating instructions or wants to access them online.

How can I order Sonnenglas® without packaging?

If we have unpacked goods in stock in the country you are ordering from, you will automatically be offered to switch to the unpacked version when you check out on our website and you can switch to it with one click if you wish.

Doors open: The first Sonnenglas® store

All good things come in threes: we have opened our first store in South Africa! Directly connected to our production facility in Victoria Yards in Lorentzville, Johannesburg, the Sonnenglas® Factory Shop a sale directly from the factory.
