The story
We build solar lights in Johannesburg — and the SOMO is the part that shines. A flat module, 8.5 centimetres across, holding a solar cell, a battery and 100 lumens of warm white light. It sits in the lid of the Sun Jar Classic, on top of the Light Carafe and in the Adventure Mount on your backpack — buy it once and move it as often as you like. A day/night sensor notices when darkness falls, and on the low setting one charge lasts up to 100 hours. Because the module comes on its own, every Sonnenglas stays in service for as long as the glass does.
