Every year, the Bio Marché takes place in Zofingen, Switzerland, about an hour west of Zurich - the largest organic and fair trade fair in Switzerland. Sonnenglas was there for the fifth time and presented the new Sonnenglas Classic and the new Sonnenglas Mini in the old town of Zofingen.

If you love healthy and organic food and are enthusiastic about sustainable and fairly produced products, you've come to the right place at Bio Marchéis the right place for you. The market has been held in the alleyways of the small town in the canton of Aargau, which was first mentioned in documents in 1231, for 19 years and attracts around 40,000 visitors over three days every year.

It goes without saying that the Sonnenglas 2019 should not be missing here either. We were there for the fifth time from June 21 to 23, 2019. The diverse stands of international exhibitors presented food, textiles, furniture and gift items and were spread throughout the old town of the 12,000-inhabitant municipality.

While strolling through the small, medieval-style streets, visitors were able to stock up on organic snacks and drinks and discover lots of things. Street musicians and jugglers provided entertainment. Children laughed at clowns or rode the charming old carousel on the fairground. Illumination was provided by the Sonnenglas, which has recently become available in two versions, the Sonnenglas Classic and the Sonnenglas Mini, with numerous exciting new functions.

A special highlight: anyone who wanted to could have their Sonnenglas decorated by us directly on site - with dried flowers from South Africa. Sonnenglas Cape-Flowers is a collaboration with a family-run farm on the edge of the Karoo that specializes in collecting and drying wild flowers. And what could go better with a sun glass from South Africa than flower arrangements from South Africa - the most diverse flower kingdom on earth?
