The story
There is that moment at the end of a dinner when the water is finished and nobody wants to get up. We made the Light Carafe for it. The C1 holds one litre and stands 27 centimetres tall; on top sits the SOMO Classic — it charges on the windowsill by day and glows warm white and dimmable through the glass by night. A cork stopper seals the carafe while it serves water; the light takes over once it is empty. And like everything we make, it belongs to the Victoria Yards factory that carries 50+ fair jobs in Johannesburg.
Frequently asked questions
The C1 comes on its own or as a set including the SOMO Classic. If you already own a Sun Jar Classic, its SOMO simply moves over.
