Ensure Your Worry-Free Lighting for Even Longer

We want everyone who owns a Sonnenglas to enjoy it for a long time. That is why, on top of your statutory rights, you get a voluntary manufacturer's warranty from us — and if you register your product, we extend it free of charge. If you have questions, write to us.

Our warranty

• Who gives it: Sonnenglas GmbH, Marschstraße 94, 25704 Meldorf, Germany, info@sonnenglas.net.
• What: your Sonnenglas® product is free from defects in materials and workmanship.
• How long: one year from purchase. If you register your product within 2 months of purchase with the form below, the warranty lasts two years — until the end of the month in which the purchase is two years old.
• For whom and where: for Sonnenglas® products bought from us or from a retailer, in every country we deliver to.
• What we do: we repair the product or replace it or the faulty part (for example the SONNENMODUL) — free of charge for you, including shipping.
• Not covered: damage from drops, accidents, improper handling or interventions not described in our instructions, and normal signs of use.
• How to claim: write to us via the contact form or to info@sonnenglas.net with the serial number, proof of purchase and a short description.

If you register later or the purchase date is unknown (for example for a gift), the warranty lasts one year from purchase; we then take the date on the proof of purchase.

Your statutory rights are not affected. The warranty applies in addition to your statutory rights against the seller; using them is free of charge and is not limited by this warranty.

Legal guarantee in the EU

If you buy in the EU as a consumer, the seller is liable for at least two years for the goods being in conformity with the contract. The official notice of the European Commission:

How to Find Everything You Need

You will need the serial number to extend the warranty on your Sonnenglas® products. This can be found directly on the SONNENMODUL as a QR code and also as text. For the Sonnenglas Generation 6, the serial number is a 6-digit text consisting of letters and numbers. For the previous models, it is a longer number beginning with 11C, 12C, 11M or 11M. The easiest way is to scan the QR code. The serial number is then automatically transferred to this form.

After you have completed the warranty extension, you will receive a message from us asking you to confirm your e-mail address - or with the confirmation itself. Please always check your spam folder in this regard.
