The story
Two carafes, one litre, two characters: the C2 is the sister of the C1 — the same height, the same neck for the SOMO Classic, but its own silhouette and, at around 460 grams, a little more glass in the hand. We like them in pairs on long tables: water while people eat, light once people talk. The cork stopper keeps it sealed, the SOMO charges at the window by day and dims down to candle-calm at night. The Light Carafe is fairly made — part of the Sonnenglas project that has created 50+ jobs in Johannesburg.
