A gift that gets used every evening

Most corporate gifts get one look and then get put away. Not the Sun Jar: it charges in the sun by day and switches itself on at night — the day/night sensor takes care of that. On the balcony, in the garden, on the table at dinner.

The SOMO light module in the lid gives 100 lumens of warm white light at 3000 kelvin. Dimmed, it glows for up to 100 hours; on medium, up to 28 hours. The complete sets are weatherproof to IP65 — the jar can stay outside.

If it sits on the table year after year, so does your logo.

Who makes your gift

We make every jar by hand in our Fair-Trade-certified factory in Johannesburg — since 2013. It has created steady jobs in a region where over 60 percent of young people have no work.

The factory runs almost entirely on solar power, and 100 percent of profits are reinvested in the company and its people. Give your team a Sun Jar and you give two things: light here, a steady job there. That is a story you can tell honestly in the Christmas email to your staff.

How your logo gets onto the glass

Laser engraving: your logo in one colour, matte and permanent in the glass. Colour print: your logo in your colours, directly on the glass. For production we need your logo as vector artwork (SVG, EPS, PDF or AI). Don't have one? We help prepare it.

If you like, we add something: a printed greeting card in the parcel, or an insert in the jar, such as dried flowers or a tag. Logo work and inserts need time — plan early, especially before Christmas.

Tell us the quantity and when you need it. We reply personally with a quote and advise on technique, run size and timing.
